Pamela Sorokey

Customer Service Representative

Pamela Sorokey brings decades of customer service experience and a genuine love of working with people to her role as a Customer Service Representative at NY Insurance Hub.

Before entering the insurance industry, Pam built a successful career in cosmetology. After graduating at the top of her class from Colonna Beauty School and earning her New York State cosmetology license, she worked in salons throughout the Capital Region and eventually co-owned Les Bons Amis, Inc., a 3,000-square-foot day spa with a team of 24 professionals. Her years working closely with clients taught her the importance of listening, communicating clearly, building relationships, and making people feel comfortable and cared for.

Pam’s connection to the insurance industry began through Mary Lou B. Connolly, who first became the insurance agent for Pam’s salon. Pam later joined Mary Lou’s agency as a Customer Service Representative, where she spent many years assisting clients. Today, she continues that work at NY Insurance Hub, helping clients with their service needs and connecting them with the agency’s licensed insurance agents when guidance or coverage assistance is needed.

Outside of work, Pam enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with friends, being outdoors, visiting wineries, and relaxing near the ocean. Proud of her French heritage, she is also fluent in French and can speak, read, and write the language.
