“Riley supports the NYIH team with day-to-day projects and organization, helping the agency stay responsive and focused on serving its clients.”

Riley Long is an intern at NY Insurance Hub who brings an eagerness to learn, a willingness to take on new experiences, and an interest in understanding how a local business operates behind the scenes.

As a student, Riley is using her time at NYIH to gain experience outside of the classroom and see firsthand how the different pieces of a business come together. Her internship introduces her to the insurance industry while also giving her exposure to customer service, communication, teamwork, and the everyday operations that keep an independent agency moving.

Rather than stepping into one specific area, Riley’s role as an intern is about exploring, observing, and learning. She has the opportunity to work alongside members of the NYIH team, ask questions, become familiar with different aspects of the agency, and begin discovering where her own interests and strengths may take her professionally.

Riley approaches the experience with curiosity and a desire to grow, making the most of the opportunity to build practical skills and learn from the people around her.
