Marcus Rankins

Licensed Insurance Agent

Marcus Rankins is a Licensed Insurance Agent at NY Insurance Hub and a college student who began his journey with the agency as an intern. After gaining hands-on experience with the NYIH team, Marcus earned his insurance license and transitioned into his role as an agent.

As one of the younger members of the team, Marcus brings a fresh perspective to an industry that can sometimes feel unfamiliar or intimidating to younger consumers. He understands that many people in his generation are navigating insurance for the first time—whether they’re buying their first car, renting their first apartment, purchasing a home, or beginning to build their financial future.

Marcus enjoys helping bridge the gap between generations by combining the knowledge and experience of the established NY Insurance Hub team with the communication styles, questions, and priorities of younger clients. As a licensed agent, he works with clients to explain coverage options, answer questions, and help them make informed decisions about their insurance.

His progression from intern to licensed agent reflects his commitment to learning and growing within the industry. Marcus looks forward to continuing to build his career at NY Insurance Hub while helping make insurance more approachable and understandable for the next generation of clients.
